The only thing that could stop Warrior running back Ivan Augedahl and the rest of the Caledonia football team last Friday night at Chatfield was Mother Nature.

He also scored the first TD of the night when he intercepted a Chatfield pass in the opening minutes of the game and ran it back 25 yards for Caledonia’s first score. Austin Goergen made his first of five straight extra point kicks, and the Warriors led 7-0.

The Warriors scored a second TD in the first quarter when Luke Lampert gathered in a three yard pass from Josh Gran.

Augedahl scored on a 49-yard run in the second quarter, the thunderstorm moved in and the game was suspended at halftime with the Warriors leading 21-0.

Caledonia completely dominated the game, as they racked up 220 yards rushing and 100 yards passing for 320 total yards. They held the Gophers to 53 yards rushing and 98 yards passing for 151 total yards.
